Écrin is a cylindrical jewellery presentation box with a removable lid. A pale, marbled exterior surrounds a dark circular insert. Photographs show the physical object; construction studies explore what sits inside the body and lid.

Presenting the jewellery

The cylindrical body frames a dark insert that holds the jewellery. Removing the lid reveals this inner surface. The photographs show how the marbled exterior and dark centre give the object two distinct layers.

Looking inside the closure

The section sketches and transparent rendering study the connection between the lid and body, including a proposed magnetic arrangement. Together, they make the internal construction visible alongside the finished appearance.
